Throughout Sacramento and Placer County, there are hundreds of children who are facing the reality that they do not have the basic school supplies in order to start their first week of school.
Bridgeway's desire is that we collect as many new backpacks and new school supplies as possible in order to resource children in need. Last year, Bridgeway donated over 350 backpacks. This year, Bridgeway's goal is to donate 400 backpacks filled with school supplies. Will you help us?
A school supply shopping idea list will be at the Care and Compassion Desk in the main lobby, or you can view the flyer at the link below.
You can participate by purchasing a backpack, school supplies, or both.
Suggested Backpack Supplies Needed:
- Pencils, Pens, Markers, Crayons, Colored Pencils
- Baby wipes, disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, facial tissues
- Wide rule or College ruled paper or Notebooks, Composition Books
- Ruler, scissors, erasers
Drop-off Dates
June 18th - July 10th
- Monday - Wednesday from 9am-1pm at the Main South Entrance (near the flagpole)
- During weekend services at the Lobby Table or at the Care Desk
