Heather Johnson joined the Bridgeway staff in January 2014 and serves as the Community Groups Pastor, also overseeing Women’s Ministry and Alpha. She provides leadership, training, and support for groups and ministries that help people grow in their faith, build meaningful community, and take steps toward following Jesus. She also contributes to broader discipleship and outreach initiatives at Bridgeway.
Heather is passionate about creating environments where people can experience transformation, ask honest questions, and discover the ways God is inviting them to live and lead. She especially loves seeing how God uses ordinary people, gathered in community, to love one another and make a difference in their neighborhoods and beyond.
Heather is married to Dave, and they have one son (Aden) and two daughters (Ellie and Sophie). She holds a B.A. in Government Journalism from Sacramento State University, completed Faith Coach training through Western Seminary, and earned an M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Point Loma Nazarene University. Prior to joining Bridgeway, she served college students at CSUS and Sonoma State through InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Outside of work, Heather enjoys reading, hosting game nights, and spending time near the ocean.
