Spiritual Warfare
Whether we want to acknowledge it or not, we have a very real enemy who is at war with God and the things of God. Jesus defeated the devil through his death and resurrection. Before he ascended into heaven he gave us clear instructions to continue the Kingdom work he did by making disciples and helping people be healed, delivered, and set free. This is an act of warfare against the enemy. We have been given power and authority in Jesus name to overcome the world, our flesh, and the devil. We have been given spiritual protection and weapons with which to fight. Spiritual warfare encompasses all the ways we are advancing God’s Kingdom and diminishing the kingdom of darkness. This week we will be focusing on ways to overcome the enemy and walk in the victory Jesus purchased for us. One of the things we desire as a church is to bring people freedom in Christ. May you be encouraged and emboldened this week as we look at some of the ways God has given us to walk in that freedom and may we pray for opportunities to lead others to do the same!
