Here we are on day 40 of the fast where we have corporately and individually removed things from our lives and focused more on the power and presence of the living God. There have already been moments of healing and testimonies of lives changed, however today is the day that Bridgeway Christian Church holds time for those that need prayer for themselves and others. We have great anticipation for those coming to Bridgeway for prayer that they will encounter God in a powerful way. Let’s take time this morning to pray for those people in the format of the Lord’s prayer found in Matthew 6:9-13.
Our Father in heaven, we praise your holy name. You are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. You are worthy of all our praise. You are worthy of all our attention. You are worthy of all that we have offered up in these past 40 days and more.
We pray that today your kingdom would come in a powerful and mighty way on all who come to Bridgeway for prayer tonight. We pray for your will to be done and for those that are praying to be sensitive to hearing your voice as you guide them in prayer for the saints that are seeking a touch from you; whether that is emotional, relational, physical, spiritual or mental Lord- we pray your will for each request in advance that as we ask you and present requests to you, we will be in line with your spirit.
Today there will be those that are looking for deliverance from spiritual oppression. Father we pray that you would give them exactly what they need to sever any oppression and feel your freedom.
We pray for those that have cancer, autoimmune disease, infertility, bone issues, blood issues, organ failure, malfunctioning systems within their bodies that as they seek you in prayer that you would touch them with your healing hands Jesus.
We pray for those that are coming desperate because their marriages are in shambles. They feel like it is dead and there is no hope. We pray that you would breathe life into their bones. That just like you showed Ezekiel that the bones would rejoin, and the body would restore to life.
We pray for those that have mental illness and mental hang-ups that distract them daily, Jesus renew their minds. Rewire and reroute their neuropathways and bring them into alignment with your truth. We pray that you would heal them and bring to their minds the truth of your Word that would fill them with better thoughts and neuropathways.
We pray for those that are confused, desperate financially, apathetic in their faith and overall, just seeking the peace that only you provide Jesus. We pray that there would be special words of truth spoken tonight that would help for those to be seen and known as you see and know them.
We pray protection from the enemy’s distortion or discouragement to anyone that is coming to receive prayer. That the words spoken would enter their hearts and minds as you intend Holy Spirit and that when they feel a touch from you, that they would know it is real.
We proclaim Father, Son and Holy Spirit that YOU are able. YOU are good. YOU are our true help and that anything that is accomplished tonight is because of YOU and not because of us. We acknowledge that YOU are the Healer, Deliverer, Provider, Truth Teller, Advocate, Defender. In Jesus name, amen.
