Introduction:
Today begins our third week of the fast. This week our intercession will be focused on different ways we are asking God to heal. There are times God heals instantly, in a miraculous moment. Sometimes healing takes place over time. Every prayer we pray for healing is in faith that God will move and that he knows the best path for healing for each individual involved. Through our limited human abilities and understanding, we could look at some of these topics and see the complexity in each category. But we serve a God with limitless power and full insight into every circumstance. It is from him and in him we pray. Each day we will be contending for God to move both in our lives as we have needs and for the lives of those who need a miracle. During this week, ask God to build your faith. Ask him to help you see things through his limitless power. When questions, disappointment, or challenges arise, invite the Holy Spirit to speak to you and minister to you as you press in. As we pray for healing this week, we are reminding God of his promises to save, heal, deliver, and set people free. He is the one who has asked us to pray for those in need and he is the one who heals. As we pray, we come into agreement with God’s plans and walk in unity as a church to see more of heaven on earth. May God meet you richly as you intercede for healing.
