Worship

The last two weeks we have focused on the power to heal and how to walk in the authority we have been given through Jesus to dismantle the schemes of the enemy. This week our focus is on the one in whose authority we have been given. Power is grown and developed through time spent in intimacy with the one who wields the power. We worship the one who has set us free and allows us to partner with him. Worship is a place where we build intimacy with God. We respond to what God has done in us and through us through many forms of worship. We most often associate worship with music, but there are endless ways to worship God. Worship can also include giving him the hard things we are walking through. When we worship the Lord we are reciprocating the love God has so lavishly given to us. We have not earned what he has extended to us, but God is more than worthy of any worship we bring to him. So this week, we shift our focus from operating in his power to pursuing the power source. Let’s take time to sit at the feet of God and explore the many ways we can share our love with him.
