I John 5:13-15
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.
What a powerful night of worship and prayer! Thank you to everyone who came to be a part of the evening and to all of you who prayed both in person and throughout the fast. Every year I participate in WPHG, it is life changing. What an incredible honor to pray for people in their hour of need and ask God to move in ways only he can do. Sometimes we see immediate answers to prayer and others we see happen over time. Recently received testimony of how God healed a marriage over time and the crucial role SEVERAL WPHGs played in helping them heal. Each time we receive a testimony, it gives us faith for the next one and a hunger to see God do it again.
When God does something incredible in our lives, sharing it gives him glory. It points other to Jesus. As fellow Christ followers, there is nothing more fun than celebrating God doing miracles. If God did something miraculous in your life last night, don’t keep it to yourself. Share it! Whether it feels big or small, we want to hear your story. You never know the hope and encouragement your story carries.
Sometimes we have been set free from something personal or painful. I get that. But if you feel that nudge to share your story, we want to celebrate with you! We want to jump up and down and praise God for the healing, praise him for the freedom, praise him for the miracle!!!
If you received prayer and you didn’t see God move in the way you had hoped, don’t be discouraged! God is still moving and he’s not done with you yet. Keep contending in prayer. We are more than happy to keep praying with you and for you. We have had lots of stories of people who were healed gradually over time. Do not lose heart! Come to Monday night prayer. Let the prayer team pray for you after service. Pray with your community group. Reach out to our Care and Compassion ministries. We LOVE praying with you!
Moving forward, the miracles are not just for a special night. Let’s keep praying for God to move, miracles to increase, salvation to keep happening, chains of addiction to be severed, families to be restored, mental health issues to cease, for people to be delivered, prodigals to come home, marriages to be saved, etc….. Someone, get excited with me! Last night set a bar for our expectations moving forward! Let’s keep the momentum going! God, won’t you do it?!!!

Holy Spirit, is there something you want me to share from our time at the WPHG? How can I be praying for those who still need a miracle? Pray as the Holy Spirit directs.
Prayer:
God we thank you for all the ways you moved last night both seen and unseen. Thank you for every salvation, every baptism, every healing, and every deliverance. Thank you that you continue to do miracles. Thank you that we have hope because you are the God who heals. We are so excited for the work you have done. May your praise be constantly on our lips. God give us boldness to proclaim your goodness and share our stories with others. May our testimonies be encouraging to others and point people to you, Jesus. May our testimonies fuel our faith and make us hungry for more of You. Lord, we continue to lift up those who need your intervention. We know you have more than enough power to go around. We continue to lift up those who need a touch from you and ask for you to move powerfully on their behalf. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of bringing a little more of heaven on earth. We can’t wait to see what you are going to do next. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
