Susy Flory

Susy Flory is the New York Times bestselling author or co-author of nineteen books. Her most recent books are Jesus Was: Not What We Expected But Better Than We Imagined (Kregel), and Holy Disruptor (Zondervan), which Susy worked on with Amy Duggar King. Susy’s 2014 book, The Unbreakable Boy, was recently made into a major motion picture by Lionsgate Studios, Kingdom Story Company, and the Erwin Brothers (who made I Can Only Imagine). The film stars Zachary Levi and Patricia Heaton and went into wide release in March of 2025. A graduate of UCLA, Susy directs West Coast Christian Writers (a 501c3 nonprofit) and founded Everything Memoir. In December, she will graduate with her doctoral degree in New Testament studies. She lives in Volcano, CA and loves travel and the mountains.
